Alejandro Talavante Rodríguez, is a Spanish bullfighter known professionally in the bullfighting world as "Talavante".
Date of birth: November 24, 1987 in Badajoz, Spain.
Debut in public: After enlisting in the Bullfighting School of Badajoz and proving his worth, being the best of his class. He made his public debut on the 15th of May 2000 in La Puebla de Sancho Pérez (Badajoz), his mother's hometown.
Debut as a novillero: After the great growth that was reaping, he was given the opportunity to debut as a novillero in Samadet bullring (France) on February 1, 2004. With Manuel Escribano and Caro Gil as companions in the ring.
Alternative: After a good performance in the fair of Arnedo, on June 9, 2006 Morante de la Puebla decides to give the alternative to Alejandro in the bullring of Cehegín (Murcia), with the presence of El Fandi and with bulls from the Benjumea livestock.
Confirmation of the alternative: Precisely one year after his alternative in Murcia. On April 8, 2007 Alejandro confirms his alternative in the bullring of Madrid, with El Juli as godfather and Manzanares as witness.
Places where he has fought: Alejandro has fought in the most representative bullrings in the world of bullfighting. Emblematic bullrings such as La Maestranza de Sevilla, Las Ventas, La Maestranza de Ronda, Plaza de toros de Pamplona, La Malagueta, Plaza de toros de Jerez de la Frontera, Plaza de toros de Granada, Plaza de toros de Zaragoza, Arena de Arles, Arena de Nimes.
