Morante de la Puebla and Diego Ventura headline the Lisbon season line-up as part of Campo Pequeno’s 2026 bullfighting season. The Portuguese arena officially unveiled this Tuesday a programme made up of four events, scheduled for July 16, August 6 and 21, and September 4.

The season will combine traditional bullfighting, rejoneo and forcados in a series featuring several major names and attractive combinations for fans. These are the officially announced line-ups.

Campo Pequeno unveils its 2026 bullfighting season

The Campo Pequeno bullring in Lisbon hosted the official presentation of the 2026 season this Tuesday. The cycle, organised by promoter Luis Miguel Pombeiro, will include four events between July 16 and September 4.

Among the main attractions are Morante de la Puebla and Diego Ventura, two of the biggest names in a programme that mixes top matadors, rejoneadores and groups of forcados.

The season will open on July 16 with a mixed bullfight. Bulls from Murteira Grave will be fought on horseback, while cattle from Álvaro Núñez and El Freixo will be used for the traditional bullfight. The line-up includes Antonio Ribeiro Telles, Fermín Bohórquez, Morante de la Puebla and novice bullfighter Tomás Bastos.

On August 6, Rui Fernandes, Diego Ventura and Duarte Fernandes will perform with bulls from Guiomar Cortés de Moura. The forcados groups from Aposento de Moita and Turlock will also take part.

The August 21 event will feature bulls from Antonio Silva for Luis Rouxinol, Gilberto Filipe, Filipe Gonçalves, Manuel Ribeiro Telles Bastos, Andrés Romero, Paco Velasquez, who will confirm his alternativa, and Vasco Veiga. The forcados groups from Montemor and Vila Franca will also participate.

The season will close on September 4 with rejoneadores Ana Batista, Joao Moura Caetano, Duarte Pinto, Miguel Moura, Joaquim Brito Paes, Antonio Telles hijo and Tristao Ribeiro Telles facing cattle from Raúl Brito Paes.
