The history of this prominent cattle ranch began in 1885, when a group of cattle was divided, resulting in a branch owned by Francisco Gallardo. Later in the 1990s, Jose Morena SantaMaria acquired it. Later in 1923, the herd was expanded with fighting cows from Campos Varela. In 1988, the existing herd was again expanded with cattle from the Los Bayones ranch. It was then owned by the current owners.
