Valladolid San Pedro Regalado Bullfighting Festival 2026: Posters and Details

The official posters for the Valladolid San Pedro Regalado Bullfighting Festival 2026 have been released. The Calderón Theater once again brought together Valladolid society to present a festival that will feature two events at the bullring on Paseo de Zorrilla on May 10th and 17th.

The event served to unveil the lineups designed by Tauroemoción and the organizational details of both events. Below, we review the posters, the program for the festival, and practical information on ticket sales.

Festival Presentation at the Calderón Theater

Nearly a thousand fans, bullfighting professionals, authorities, and guests attended the official presentation of the San Pedro Regalado Festival.

Alberto García was in charge of detailing the festivities, explaining the two bullfights scheduled for the Valladolid bullring in a series that expands its offerings compared to recent years.

The gala was hosted by journalist David Casas and was attended by institutional representatives and key figures from the world of bullfighting.

The festival will feature two bullfights at the bullring on Paseo de Zorrilla. These are the announced lineups:

May 10th
Bulls from Jandilla for Morante de la Puebla, Juan Ortega y Roca Rey

May 17th
Opportunity Bullfight with bulls from El Pilar for Manuel Diosleguarde, Sergio RodríguezJarocho” y Mario Navas.The May 10th event is presented as the main event of the season, bringing together three top-ranked bullfighters in a highly attractive lineup for fans.

Meanwhile, the Opportunity Bullfight on May 17th maintains its objective of promoting young bullfighters with ties to Castile and León.

Breeds announced for the San Lorenzo Fair

During the gala, the ranches scheduled to provide bulls for the upcoming San Lorenzo Fair, to be held in September, were also announced.

The Valladolid-based ranch Equinotauro was announced as participating in the bull-leaping competition.

The main festivities include bullfights featuring the following breeders:

El Capea (rejoneo)
Victorino Martín
Victoriano del Río
Juan Pedro Domecq
Garcigrande

This selection of livestock will once again be a key element of the September season.

Authorities and key figures present at the presentation

The presentation was attended by the Mayor of Valladolid, Jesús Julio Carnero, and the First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Education and Culture, Irene Carvajal, who emphasized the role of bullfighting in the city's cultural life.

Also present were the Regional Minister of Culture, Gonzalo Santonja, the Regional Minister of the Presidency, Luis Miguel González Gago, as well as breeders such as Moisés Fraile, Ricardo del Río, and Raúl Nieto, owner of the Equinotauro ranch.

The bullfighters scheduled to appear in the Corrida de la Oportunidad (Opportunity Bullfight) were also in attendance: Manuel Diosleguarde, Sergio Rodríguez “Jarocho,” and Mario Navas.

The presentation gala is part of the “Valladolid Bullfighting City” Cultural Center, an initiative promoted by Tauroemoción in collaboration with the Valladolid City Council's Department of Education and Culture.
