The history of this renowned cattle ranch began in 1930 at the Jandilla estate, when Juan Pedro Domecq y Núñez de Villavicencio founded a great line of cattle that continues to this day at the same location. He used cows and bulls from the Marqués de Tamarón and the Conde de la Corte, both of the Parladé line and Vistahermosa breed. From its establishment until his death in 1975, the ranch was managed by Juan Pedro Domecq y Díez, and until 1982, the bulls were fought under the Veragua brand. In 1978, shortly after the death of Juan Pedro Domecq y Díez, the majority of the cattle were transferred from the Veragua brand to the current one, adopting the name Jandilla in 1983. From 1975 to 1986, his son, Fernando Domecq y Solís, was in charge, and from 1987, when he founded his own ranch, management was taken over by his brother, Borja Domecq y Solís, who continues in the position today.
