Tickets available for the Hellín Bullring: lineup and official presentation
Tickets available for the Hellín Bullring are already drawing attention ahead of one of the most anticipated events of Holy Week in the city. Hellín will host a bullfight on April 4 (Holy Saturday) at 6:00 pm, a date that revives a tradition closely linked to the town.
In this article we review the official lineup, the context of the event and the protagonists of the afternoon. The bullfight will be held in honor of the Drum (Tambor) and marks the beginning of a new stage for the Hellín bullring.
Official presentation at the Holy Week Museum
The auditorium of the Museum of Holy Week and Tamborada of Hellín hosted the official presentation of the bullfight scheduled for April 4.
This will be the first event organized by Eventos Mare Nostrum, the company that has been awarded the management of the Hellín bullring for the next four seasons.
The event was hosted by Antonio Martínez Iniesta, coordinator of the Bullfighting Foundation Chapter in Albacete, and was attended by:
Manuel Serena, Mayor of Hellín
Dolo Valencia, Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Bullfighting Festivities
Samuel Navalón, matador
Nacho Lloret, director of Eventos Mare Nostrum
During the event, the participants highlighted the importance of bringing bullfighting back into the Holy Week program after two years without a bullfight in the city’s celebrations.
A bullfight in honor of the Drum
Mayor Manuel Serena emphasized the cultural and tourism value that bullfighting events represent in a city deeply connected both to Holy Week and to bullfighting tradition.
Meanwhile, Nacho Lloret explained that this bullfight marks the beginning of a new stage for the company in Hellín. The aim is to offer attractive lineups and restore the prominence of the Hellín bullring within the national bullfighting circuit.
The lineup for the Hellín bullfight
The announced combination brings together three bullfighters who arrive at notable moments in their careers and who will face bulls from the Alcurrucén ranch, a well-known breeding brand frequently seen in major arenas.
The bullfighters on the bill are:
Manuel Jesús “El Cid”
Víctor Hernández
Samuel Navalón
The lineup is headed by Manuel Jesús “El Cid”, who arrives after receiving recognition for the best bullfighting performance at the last Albacete Fair.
He will be joined by Víctor Hernández, a bullfighter enjoying strong momentum after being named the standout matador in Madrid in 2025.
The bill is completed by Samuel Navalón, who attended the presentation just 48 hours before his scheduled appearance in Valencia, a gesture that was appreciated by those present. He will appear in Hellín after delivering an important performance in Albacete last season.
A key event during Holy Week in Hellín
The bullfight on April 4 at the Hellín Bullring is shaping up to be one of the notable events during the atmosphere of Holy Week and the Tamborada, two deeply rooted traditions in the city.
