The history of this distinguished cattle ranch began in 1954, when it was transferred to Álvaro Domecq Díez, who established it under the Valcargado brand. In 1956, several bulls and cows from the Francisco Chica ranch, with Veragua and Ibarra ancestry, were incorporated, as well as cows from Carlos Núñez, eliminating the Suárez Ternero lineage. In 1957, the ranch changed its name to Torrestrella. Currently, the ranch incorporates genetics from Curro Chica, Carlos Núñez, and Jandilla, while retaining 3% Veragua blood. This tradition continues through its current ownership.
