See all the bullfights of San Isidro
The story of this distinguished cattle ranch began in 2015 when Raúl Tenorio acquired cattle, branding rights, colors, and seniority from Giménez Indarte in Baños de la Encina, Jaén province. The cattle were moved to the "Navarredonda de los Llanillos" estate in Villarejo de Salvanés, Madrid, retaining part of the original name out of respect. Founded by Bernardino Giménez in 1927, the ranch initially acquired cattle from Jijona, crossbred with Veragua stock, and debuted in Madrid in 1932.
In 1941, Bernardino established a new ranch with a new brand, acquiring cows and bulls from the Marquis of Villamarta. In 1970, new cattle from Manuel Arranz Sánchez of Salamanca were added. After the death of Bernardino in 1958, the cattle ranch was divided, with the part known as Giménez Indarte being managed by Gerardo Giménez Mena. The history of San Isidro continues with the evolution of its livestock and the incorporation of new genetic lines, marking an important chapter in the breeding of fighting bulls.
