The history of this distinguished cattle ranch begins when Rafael José Barbero acquired cows from the Jijona herd and bulls from Cabrera. In 1885, it was acquired by Carlos Conrado, who transferred a large part of the herd that same year to Felipe de Pablo Romero. Later, in 1906, it passed to Felipe de Pablo-Romero y Llorente, and in 1943, after his death, to his children. From 1944 onwards, it was advertised under the name of José Luis and the Heirs of Felipe de Pablo-Romero. Subsequently, in 1956, a family company was formed, with José Luis de Pablo-Romero appointed as manager, and it began to be advertised as Hijos de Pablo Romero (Sons of Pablo Romero). It has remained under its current ownership with its new emblem.
