See all the bullfights of Parladé
The history of this renowned cattle ranch began in 1884 when Eduardo Ibarra acquired half of the ranch belonging to Dolores Monje. Later, in 1904, after several partial sales, the Count of Santa Coloma and Fernando Parladé purchased separate portions of the ranch. In 1914, Fernando Parladé sold off portions of the ranch in several lots and finally transferred ownership entirely to Luis Gamero Cívico. After the latter's death in 1921, four separate lots were created and consolidated.
In 1934, ownership of the ranch passed to Clemente Tassara and Domingo Ortega, undergoing a significant reduction in size in 1980. In 1986, Domingo Hernández purchased the ranch and subsequently transferred it to the Sociedade Agropecuaria Do Río (Río Agricultural Society). This company incorporated a herd of cattle from Juan Pedro Domecq into the existing livestock, with the aim of preserving the purity of the Vistahermosa-Parladé line, avoiding crossbreeding with Veragueño cattle.
