The history of this renowned cattle ranch began in 1950 when brothers Esteban and Auxilio Tabernero Rodríguez registered as Esteban and Auxilio de Iruelo. Because they did not complete the registration process within the established timeframe, they had to begin a new trial in 1953.
In 1964, Auxilio Tabernero Rodríguez began advertising his bulls individually, and in 1965 the ranch was sold to Manuel Benítez Pérez. In 1966, Benítez acquired a group of females from Carlos Urquijo, thus eliminating the previous bloodline and making changes to the brand. At the end of 1986, the ranch was acquired by José María Soberino and his sons, who also made changes to the brand and colors. It has remained under current ownership ever since.
