See all the bullfights of Juan A. Ruiz Román
The history of this outstanding cattle ranch began in 1948, when Baldomero Sánchez y Sánchez purchased a magnificent lot belonging to Emilia García-Aleas, including the brand and colors, and acquired a herd of cows and a bull from Carlos Núñez. In 1955, the heirs of Baldomero Sánchez y Sánchez advertised their business, and in 1956 they sold the property to José Luis Hidalgo Rincón, who changed the brand. In 1965, Manuel Navarro Sabido bought the property, but in 1974 he sold it to Blanca Belmonte. In 1980, the property passed to José Luis Martín Berrocal, and in 1981 to Pilar Pallarés García, who expanded the ranch with three lots of cattle: one from Martín Berrocal, branded Marqués de Domecq; one from Ramón Sánchez Recio; and another belonging to Ramón Sánchez Rodríguez. In 1984, the Cañaveral Valdés family acquired the property and registered it as Guadaira. That same year, they sold it to the Núñez Brothers, who in turn sold it in 1985 to Juan Jiménez Alarcón. Finally, Juan Jiménez Alarcón sold the property in 1987 to Espartaco, S.A., who changed the brand to the current one.
