The history of this distinguished cattle ranch began in 1996, when Nicolás Fraile Martín initiated its creation, supported by Article 5 bis b) of the Statutes, using cows and bulls from Valdefresno. Although the original branding iron, belonging to Juan Luis Fraile Valle, was retained, the name was changed to Hnos. Fraile Mazas, representing his grandsons. In 2006, the ranch joined Grupo Primero following decisions made at the General Assembly of the Breeders' Union.
In 2020, ownership of the ranch was acquired by José Enrique Fraile Mazas, resulting in the division of Ganadería Valdefresno into two equal lots. With this change, the ranch began operating as Fraile de Valdefresno, under the management of José Enrique. This process marked a new phase in the ranch's development and administration.
