The history of this distinguished cattle ranch began in the late 18th century when it was divided into several lots. One of these passed into the hands of Mr. Ramos Flores, and later to Mr. Julián Flores and Mr. Sabino Flores. After Mr. Sabino's death, his widow sold the ranch in 1927 to Mr. Luis Melgarejo Tordesillas, who later, in 1932, transferred it to Mr. Demetrio and Mr. Ricardo Ayala. In 1940, Mr. Manuel Martín Alonso became the owner, only to sell it in 1941 to the Ortega Estévez family. Mr. Rafael Bernal Encabo bought it in 1947, and in turn, Mr. Ignacio Pérez-Tabernero Sánchez acquired it in 1958, maintaining the ranch's brand but completely renewing its composition with animals from his father's Santa Coloma lineage. In 1963, a young bull named "Uentecillo" was added to the herd from Joaquín Buendía, and between 1965 and 1967, Joaquín provided several breeding bulls. Finally, in 2001, a new owner acquired only the branding rights and restructured the herd with cows and bulls from Daniel Ruiz Yagüe.
