The history of this renowned cattle ranch began in 1951, when Manuel Cañaveral Valdés established it by acquiring cattle from Carlos Melgarejo and Arias de Reina, along with a bull from José Carvajal González. In 1965, he submitted the ranch to the official competition, presenting bullfights in arenas such as Cáceres, Guadalajara, Cuenca, and Almería, as well as a full-fledged bullfight in Albacete. Subsequently, he joined the Association of Fighting Bull Breeders.
In 1987, he implemented significant changes, discarding all existing stock and acquiring cows and bulls from Joaquín Buendía, under the new name of Guadaira. In 1996, he modified the branding iron, adopting the one still in use today.
