See all the bullfights of Garcigrande
The history of this prominent stud farm dates back to Gabriel González's creation in 1929, with horses from Arribas Hermanos. In 1949, the stud farm was divided among his children, with a group assigned to Florencia González Martín. After his death in 1955, Isabel Rosa González inherited the stud farm and sold it to Germán Pimentel Gamazo in 1961. The Blanco Coriso brothers purchased it in 1965 and renamed it Maribáñez, also modifying the brand. In 1980, they incorporated two stallions from the José and Juan stud farm, originally from Dionisio Rodríguez. That same year, Domingo Hernández acquired the stud farm, announced it under the name Garcigrande, with his wife as his representative. He eliminated the previous lines and reorganized it with a group of females and two stallions from Juan Pedro Domecq.
