The history of this prominent cattle ranch began in 1948, when Alicio Cobaleda Marcos split his ranch. Part of it was awarded to his daughter, Eusebia Cobaleda Gajate, wife of Bernardino García Fonseca. She announced her own ranch under the name "Castraz de Yeltes." In 1980, Eusebia handed over management to her son, José Luis García Cobaleda, who registered the ranch in his name and expanded it by incorporating cows from his father's ranch, Bernardino García Fonseca.

Then, in 1986, Antonio Pérez Tabernero acquired the ranch, transforming it into La Rivera. In 1987, the couple Mr. Moisés and Mrs. María del Pilar Fraile Gómez purchased the ranch, completely eliminating its previous origins and refurbishing it with cows and stallions from "Aldeanueva," owned by Mr. Domingo Matías Bernardos. Until its current owner, the ranch was acquired.
