The history of this distinguished cattle ranch began in 1901 when Andrés Sánchez Rodríguez established the herd using cattle from Faustino Udaeta, to which he added cows from Veragua and Carreros. After his death in 1912, the ranch was announced under the name of his sons. In 1916, the herd was enriched with cattle from the Count of Santa Coloma and the Marquis of Albaserrada, replacing the previous ones. By 1934, under the ownership of his son, Francisco Sánchez de Coquilla, the ranch was divided into four parts, one of which was acquired by Santiago Ubago with the original brand and emblem. It later passed into the hands of Julio Garrido, and in 1976, it was sold by his heirs to Daniel Ruiz Yagüe, who expanded the herd with a group of females from Eusebia Galache. In 1986, Ruiz Yagüe disposed of the previous herd, creating a new stud farm with 60 females and several Jandilla bulls.
