The history of this prominent cattle ranch began in 1940 when the Julián Escudero Nuño ranch was divided. At that time, a herd belonging to María Escudero Muriel remained, later expanding with cattle from Mr. Vizconde de Garci-Grande. In 1983, it was purchased by La Tauromaquia, S.A.T., and sold in 1984 to Mr. Cayetano Muñoz, who retained only the Torrestrella heritage. He recently acquired 100 cows and two stallions from the Toros de El Torero ranch. In 1992, he acquired 90 yearlings from the Los Guateles ranch and three stallions. In 2008, he acquired several cows and stallions from the Los Guateles ranch.
