See all the bullfights of Carmen Lorenzo - El Capea
The history of this prominent cattle ranch began in 1977 when her husband, Pedro Gutiérrez, purchased the ranch from Fausto Rodríguez Martín. In 1979, the property was registered in the name of Carmen Lorenzo Carrasco, the previously acquired animals were eliminated, and 170 females and a stallion belonging to Carlos Urquijo de Federico, of pure Murube lineage, were added to the ranch. This was the first time Niño de la Capea acquired Murube-blooded cattle, and nine years later, he continued investing in this line of cattle by purchasing the ranch from José Romero, which had been built with Murube cattle purchased from Antonio Ordóñez four years earlier. This last ranch was then named after the bullfighter's children, Pedro and Verónica Gutiérrez Lorenzo. In 2003, Pedro Gutiérrez Moya, known as Niño de la Capea, purchased the Rueda Brothers' ranch, which was advertised as San Pelayo, and animals from Carmen Lorenzo were added to it.
