The history of this prominent stud farm began in 1928, when Francisco Trujillo expanded the ranch by introducing horses from Campos Fuentes and Duque de Tovar, and later, by incorporating a stud from the Count of Santa Coloma. In 1974, Gregorio Ortega Estévez took over ownership of the ranch, undertaking a complete renovation by completely discarding the existing herd and reorganizing the farm with cows and stallions from Salustiano Galache, from Urcóla. Ownership changed over time until it reached its current owners.
