The history of this prominent cattle ranch began in 1920 when Fernando Sánchez Rico established the association with cattle from Jerónimo Díaz Alonso. He later purchased this property in 1929 and added a stock of Martínez cattle. In 1939, his descendants purchased it from Manuel González Martín "Machaquito," who expanded it with other Contreras cattle he already owned. In 1940, he gave half of the ranch to the Count of Ruiseñada, and in 1957, he bought the entire ranch from Baltasar Ibán Valdés, who changed the brand. The company "Ganadería Ibán, S.L." was then formed, which is the current owner of the ranch. It was made public in 2004.
